BizSynk, LLC — Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 18 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how BizSynk, LLC ("BizSynk," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website or engage us for bookkeeping and accounting services.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us: When you contact us through our website form or during a free consultation, you may provide information such as your name, email address, phone number, business details, and any other information you choose to share.

Information collected automatically: When you browse our website, we automatically collect certain information through cookies and similar tracking technologies, including your IP address, browser type, device information, and the pages you visit. This information is used to maintain and improve the website experience. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; note that some website features may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

Information you provide as a client: If you engage BizSynk for bookkeeping, payroll, or related services, you will provide financial documents, account information, and other records necessary for us to perform those services. This information is handled in accordance with the confidentiality terms of our Terms of Service, in addition to this Privacy Policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

- Respond to inquiries and schedule consultations

- Operate, maintain, and improve our website

- Send marketing emails or newsletters, which you may opt out of at any time

- Fulfill our obligations for the bookkeeping and accounting services BizSynk has been hired to perform for you

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with third-party service providers who assist in our daily operations, such as website hosting, email marketing software, and scheduling tools. These providers are only given the information necessary to perform their function for us.

We may disclose your information if required to do so by a validly issued and enforceable subpoena, summons, or warrant, or in response to another legally binding request from a public authority. Consistent with our Terms of Service, we will notify you before releasing any information in response to such a request, except where we are legally prohibited from doing so or compliance is required before you can be reached — in which case we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible afterward.

4. Data Retention

Information submitted through our contact form or collected automatically through website browsing is retained only as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry, operate our website, or as you otherwise permit (for example, remaining subscribed to our newsletter).

For active or former clients: original documents and records you provide to us are returned to you upon termination of services, as described in our Terms of Service. BizSynk's own working papers — including any records prepared in the course of preparing your financials or returns — are BizSynk's property and are retained for seven (7) years, after which they are securely destroyed.

5. Data Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect your personal and financial information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

Client-provided financial information is stored using a private cloud-based storage system. We provide clients with a secure document upload system so that information is protected from initial submission through storage. [We are still finalizing the specific secure document platform we will use. Once selected, this section — and the third-party service provider list in Section 3 — will be updated to name the program we have selected.]

6. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party sites, such as payment processors, accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks), or client portals. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these other sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.

7. Your Privacy Choices

You may opt out of marketing emails or newsletters at any time using the unsubscribe link included in each message. Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.

Access: You are always welcome to ask what information we have on file for you. We are happy to provide a screen print or similar record of your file upon request.

Deletion: We are happy to delete documents you have supplied to us upon your request. Deletion requests must be submitted in writing. Before deleting anything, we will call you to confirm the request, using our standard identity verification practice described in our Terms of Service — we will call the number on file from your original engagement or your most recently confirmed contact information, never a number provided within the request itself. Please note that BizSynk's own working papers — as described in Section 4 — are our property and cannot be deleted before the end of the seven (7) year retention period, even upon your request.

To make any of these requests, contact us using the information below.

8. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the Effective Date above.
