The accountant who gets it - because she’s lived it.

Johanna, Senior Accounting & Bookkeeping Consultant of BizSynk LLC holding a cello, reflecting her background as a musician and fellow freelancer.

Five degrees. Twenty years of accounting experience. A career that spans CPA firms, symphony orchestras, and three continents. None of that is what makes BizSynk different. What makes it different is why it exists.

“Premium expertise. Real relationships. No inflated bill.”

THE BIZSYNK STANDARD

- The Origin -

In 2011, a layoff at a Boca Raton CPA firm handed me an unexpected gift: the freedom to make a choice I'd been putting off for years. I packed my cello and spent the next stretch of my life performing across the United States, Europe — Austria, Sweden, France — and China. Meanwhile, Rodney had opened BizSynk, hoping to build a freelance practice of his own. It never took off the way he'd planned — but the door was open, and I quietly stepped through it, keeping one small accounting client alive on the side, under the BizSynk name. That client is still with me today.

I tell you that not because it makes for a good story - though it does. - but because it shaped the accountant I became. I know what it means to build something from a passion. To navigate irregular income and an unpredictable schedule, and to feel like the financial side of your work is the one thing you can never quite get ahead of. I’ve sat where many of my clients are sitting. That is not a tagline. That is the accounting I bring to BizSynk’s clients.

- What I do & who I serve -

Three core services are: bookkeeping, business startup consultation, and business plan preparation. I work with clients at every stage - someone formalizing their finances for the first time, an established freelancer ready to stop guessing and start growing, or a business owner position their company for a future sale or retirement exit.

I’ve also worked with organizations well into the millions in revenue. That breadth matters: understanding where a business can go is part of understanding where yours is right now. Whether you are just starting out or you have already built something and you want to build it further, I can help you understand your numbers well enough to make diversions with confidence.

BizSynk is fully remote and serves clients through the United States.

  • I'm not a CPA, and I won't pretend to be — tax law changes constantly, and keeping up with it is their job, not mine. What I will do is help you get organized, research your question before you bring it to them, and have your numbers ready to go. Less digging for your CPA usually means a shorter conversation with them — which is good for you either way.
